The Indian women’s cricket team has been fined five percent of their match fees for maintaining a slow over-rate during their Women’s ODI World Cup match against Australia in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, where they lost by three wickets in a high-scoring contest.
The decision came after India was found to be one over short of the target after considering time allowances during the match.
